31 Years and Counting
From a tiny antique corner in Karimabad to a trusted online store shipping across Pakistan.
How it all began
Hunza Art began in 1994 as a small antique shop on Karimabad Road, specialising in rare and unseen cultural pieces from the valley.
What started as a passion project quickly became a stop for travellers searching for something real — something with soul.
Soon, we expanded into handwoven rugs, traditional caps, gemstones, and organic treasures from the Karakoram and Himalayan regions — each piece carrying stories of craft and tradition.
Today, we are both a physical shop and a growing online store, but our promise remains unchanged: every order supports local artisans and keeps Hunza’s heritage alive.
If you’re ever in Hunza, you’ll find us exactly where we began — on the main Karimabad Road, in front of Hill Top Hotel.
What we do
We connect you with thoughtfully selected handcrafted pieces from Hunza Valley and surrounding mountain regions. Everything we offer is sourced in small batches and inspected by hand.
Handmade
Curated pieces crafted by skilled local artisans — no mass-production.
Eco-Friendly
Many items use natural dyes, sun-drying, and sustainable traditional methods.
Community-Based
Every purchase supports families, farmers, and makers across Hunza.
Cultural Preservation
We help keep Hunza’s endangered crafts and traditions alive for the next generation.
