Our Sidr honey is sourced from a local beekeeper in Karimabad, Hunza, and supplied unheated and filtered. No sugar, syrups, flavourings or other ingredients are added.
We purchase the honey from the beekeeper rather than producing it ourselves. The Sidr identification is based on the information provided by our supplier.
Sidr honey is associated with nectar from trees in the Ziziphus genus. Research on Sidr honey covers different geographical sources, so the name should not be taken to mean that every jar has an identical composition or comes from the same region. Research on Sidr honey
Our product is supplied to us as Sidr, also sold as Beri honey. This describes its beekeeper-identified floral source, not an added fruit flavour or an ingredient mixed into the honey.
The flowers visited by bees influence honey’s colour and flavour. This is why honey varieties can offer different tasting experiences even though they are all honey. National Honey Board
A floral name is useful when choosing a honey, but it is not a laboratory certificate. Our supplier identifies this honey as Sidr; we do not present that assurance as independent testing or a guarantee of specific nutrient levels.
Our beekeeper supplies this honey unheated and filtered. Filtering and heating are separate steps, so filtered honey should not automatically be described as heat-treated.
We use these specific processing descriptions rather than making claims about “maximum potency” or guaranteed enzyme activity.
Ingredients: Honey. No added sugar, syrups, flavourings or other ingredients.
Try it in simple meals where you can adjust the sweetness to your preference:
To explore the honey itself, taste a small amount before adding it to food. Notice its aroma, texture and finish, then decide which pairings you enjoy.
Honey can crystallise, darken or change in aroma and flavour during storage. Crystallisation is a natural change in texture and does not, by itself, mean the honey has spoiled. National Honey Board
We do not promise that every jar will remain liquid or maintain exactly the same consistency for a fixed period.

Tajjamul –
This is great quality Beri honey. Love that it comes in a glass jar rather than those plastic bottles which are extremely bad for health.
